Gevin

Hey guys, allow me to introduce myself:

The name's Gevin Reynolds and I'm a high-school senior from ATL. School is a big part of my life, but I also play a lot of music- I'm a drummer, a saxer, and a bassoon player. Cooking, like music, serves as my escape. I've been learning a lot about food and about cooking these past few years, and I've developed and cooked some swag dishes over the years. On my webshow, SWAGourmet, my goal is to show you guys, my fellow teens, how to cook some swag, delicious dishes (which you can definitely use to impress the people in your life), but more importantly, to show you how chill cooking can be! I want to do the same thing on this blog- I want to clearly showcase the world of food by posting recipes, keeping you up to date on swag new innovations in the food world, and blogging about my food journey too! For a perfect dish, don't forget to Season with SWAG!

Here are some of my SWAG culinary accomplishments:

  • As a Blog Team Member for Innovation Generation, I wrote articles about food science and conducted interviews with the likes of Cat Cora and David Burke
  • I'm grateful to have shadowed for a day at David Burke at Bloomingdale's in New York City
  • I did a cooking demo at a downtown Atlanta community garden, utilizing ingredients that were picked in the garden
  • I have studied culinary arts at schools in Atlanta and Italy
  • I have experience teaching cooking classes at Young Chefs Academy, leading classes, camps, and birthday parties
  • I'm honored to have catered food for the media reception of the 2012 Bronze Lens Film Festival
  • In 2012, I was featured in the Neighbor newspapers for my culinary accomplishments

  3. Gevin,

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching your cooking videos. Outstanding - I am totally impressed with your talents. You made me hungry, and needless to say, I'm going to dig in on some of your SWAG dishes soon!! So when will you be opening your new restaurant? I'll be first in line to sit down at your grand opening one day. The sky is the limit - continued success.
